Frequently asked questions

How do I calculate a percentage discount?

Discount Amount = Original Price × Discount Rate / 100. Final Price = Original Price − Discount Amount. For example, 20% off ₹2,000: Discount = ₹2,000 × 20/100 = ₹400. Final Price = ₹2,000 − ₹400 = ₹1,600.

Are stacked discounts the same as a combined discount?

No. Two consecutive 20% discounts are not the same as 40% off. After the first 20% discount on ₹1,000, you pay ₹800. A second 20% off ₹800 gives ₹640, which is a total discount of 36%, not 40%.
